Program Overview

Our Certified Nursing Assistant program uses hands-on learning to help equip students with skills that can prepare them to sit for state licensing exams.*  The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the healthcare community as outlined by each state’s administrative code as well as the Federal Code. After successfully completing the written and skills state licensing exams, graduates can work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to selected patients. Enrollment is on a rolling basis and programs start every five weeks.

Length: 120 clock hours, 5 weeks

What Can I Do After Successfully Completing This Program?

Upon successful completion of the program, the student will have the ability to perform basic nursing skills proficiently, think critically, and communicate effectively within the Certified Nurse Assistant Scope of Practice. Graduates can then sit for their state licensed nursing assistant exams and, upon successful completion of those, can work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients.
